Chilli Crabs

Almost everyone I know back home is a foodie. Eating is our religion, it’s almost sacred. We all can agree that there’s really no juicier, tastier or spicier dish in Singapore other than the Chilli Crabs. For those who haven’t subdued to the crabs’ claws, you’re missing out.

On our tiny island, almost everything worth trying is flaming hot and spunky. Trust me, this one will get you hitting the roof. Oh don’t be a baby!

The crab is cooked in a thick lather of chilli and egg gravy, and usually served with deep-fried bread (called mantou in Mandarin). Ask a local, and everyone will agree that the best way to dig in, is with your fingers.
